About

I am mostly interested in Comparative Corporate Tax Law and International Tax Law. I approach both fields through an interdisciplinary lens with a strong focus on economic research. My previous experience includes study and work experiences in corporate tax in Europe and the US.


Biographical Note:

Miguel Correia is a researcher and lecturer in comparative corporate tax law at the Católica Global School of Law (Catholic University of Portugal, Lisbon).  Miguel holds a PhD in Law from the London School of Economics, an LLM in International Legal Studies from the Georgetown University Law Centre and an LLM in International Trade Law from the University of Essex.  He completed his law degree at the Catholic University of Portugal, in Oporto.  For several years, he also worked as tax adviser for multinational corporate groups at the International Tax Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York and at the International Services Line of Deloitte in Lisbon.
